Heart2Heart Outdoor Program "Honoring the Solstice, Honoring the Earth"
June 20, 2018 –
6-8:30 pm — Wed. June 20th, 2018
Honoring the Solstice, Honoring the Earth
“Heart to Heart”, a Boulder Rights of Nature sub-committee, will lead a Summer Solstice hike and contemplative Nature experience. We will walk up to one of Boulder’s enchanting mesas, from the Skunk Canyon trailhead on Deer Valley Road.
We will visit a site on the mesa, where we will take some time in meditation and guided visualization together to honor the changing season of the Summer Solstice.
We will also honor our beautiful Earth, our ancestors and the Native nations of Boulder Valley.
Francesca Howell will lead the program, with Yan Chun Su.
Drums and rattles for singing/making music are welcome.
Meet at 6 pm at the Deer Valley Road trailhead — South Boulder, off of Kohler Drive, at the southern approach to Skunk Canyon and Kohler Mesa trails.
Hiking shoes, water and insect repellent are very recommended.
If people wish to car pool, please contact Heart to Heart through Yan to plan an alternate meeting place: firstname.lastname@example.org.
